Anna de Codorníu’s origins take us back to the XVI century and her history is that of a family of winegrowers headed by Jaume Codorníu. In 1659 Anna, the sole heiress of the Codorníu dynasty, was wedded to Miquel Raventós. A marriage ceremony that was to unite two sagas of winegrowers forever.

Anna de Codorníu was born in 1983 and was the first cava to incorporate the Chardonnay varietal. Today it is undoubtedly Codorníu’s most iconic cava.

With its delicateness, elegance and unmistakeable freshness it constitutes a great tribute to the values represented by the last person in the family to bear the Codorníu surname.
