So our conviction is to do things a little differently from other brands.
We don’t follow tradition. We go beyond it. And want our drinkers to do the same; to enjoy our wines any way they choose.
Born with a maverick spirit in 1997, we swirl like no one’s watching. We’re not shackled to a single region, we’re globally sourced and globally sold. Our iconic bottles make any occasion a celebration. And we’ve even been known to serve wine out of taps.
In a nutshell, we make bold, elegant wines you don’t need to be a sommelier to enjoy. Even though the best sommeliers do.
Having grown up in Maitland with parents that were lovers of Hunter Valley wines, winemaking was a natural choice for Andrew, and one that he embraced even as a child. No matter whether he wanted to be a fireman one week or a watchmaker the next, just like his father, the sentence always ended with; ‘and own a vineyard when I grow up’. His first venture in the wine industry was work experience during vintage with Reynolds Yarraman Winery, Wybong Estate at just 15 years of age. From then on, his passion quickly flourished.
When the role of Winemaker came up at Tempus Two, Andrew leapt at the chance! “I have always been a huge admirer of the Tempus Two brand, so when the role came up I absolutely jumped at it!…The high standard of wines here is really fantastic and the atmosphere in the winery is great, so I couldn’t ask for more.”
