Rich purple colour, turning a deeper ruby red with age. Red and dark fruit (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrent, bilberry), developing into cooked prune and pepper. Tannins and fruit are set one against the other, with a note of corn salad to balance impulsive secondary aromas
